Why even?
As part of creating a large world and story I will need a setting and someone to depict such setting. I am not an artist. So, this creates the dilemma of having to showcase a setting with no experience as an artist. I had to innovate and decided to create the setting in Minecraft. This would ensure the setting can be depicted and I can scan for flaws without having to commission an artist. There are several things that can’t transfer over such as the Llumi emitting light or unique wildlife grazing. However, this is the best option given my circumstances. The map is not one to one and is a 1:0.007 scale of the real Land of Light. This is due to Minecraft’s build height being limited. Another reason if the map was 1:1 then the land would stretch over 766,000 blocks in a single direction. As you can imagine I can’t feasibly create something that large by myself much less in a respectable time.
Features
· The Geography of the Land of Light complete with the three divisions are open to explore.
· Llumi sprawling the sky giving light to the Land.
· Frizz’s home model where He and the other six main characters will reside.
· The Grand road is finished as it circles the entirety of the Land.
· The bathhouse in the Forest Division is accessible.
· Jabayra Caverns are accessible in the back of the Diron mines.
· Various details such as the Crystal mountains and the various floral fields.
